Building a More Livable Licking County
Age-friendly benefits everyone.
In May 2023, with support from the Licking County Commissioners, Licking County joined the AARP Network of Age-Friendly States and Communities.
This commitment brings local leaders, residents and advocates together to create practical improvements that help people live fully, safely and independently throughout every stage of life.
Community feedback shaped our assessment and approved Action Plan. Now, the work is focused on turning those priorities into measurable progress across Licking County.

From Plan to Progress
The roadmap is approved. Implementation is underway.
The Age-Friendly process is designed for long-term, community-driven improvement. With the assessment and Action Plan complete, we are now collaborating with partners to put the plan into practice and evaluate its impact.
