LCAP is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives local, state, and federal funding, as well as grants, sponsorships, and general contributions. Below are links to our prior three independent financial audits, our prior three 990 IRS filings, and our prior three annual reports. Strategic Plans
As a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization, LCAP receives federal and state dollars through the Older Americans Act to help fund services. These monies are matched and supplemented by local tax dollars, as well as grants, contracts, and contributions from clients to help continue serving every Licking County resident, regardless of their ability to pay. If you are interested in the regional and state plans that help guide the strategy of these funds, we have listed them here for your convenience:
State Plan on Aging
Ohio’s 2023-2026 State Plan on Aging is guided by information gathered through a multi-phased needs assessment process, as well as the local priorities established by Ohio’s 12 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs). This plan is influenced by the five federal priorities established by the Administration on Community Living (ACL). Key guiding principles of elder justice and equity are included within each priority area.
2021 Central Ohio Regional Assessment
In Autumn 2021, The Age-Friendly Innovation Center (AFIC), a center of the Ohio State College of Social Work, the Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging, and the Franklin County Office on Aging collaborated to conduct the Central Ohio Regional Assessment on Aging. These results are based on randomly selected residents that are 50 years or older and live in the following eight counties: Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Pickaway, and Union.
Seeking Proposals for Strategic Planning
Licking County Aging Partners (LCAP) is currently seeking a firm with extensive experience in
strategic planning. The selected firm will be given access to LCAP staff including
leadership and board members during the project and may also seek input from LCAP’s
clients, Licking County residents and local businesses. At the conclusion of the project,
the selected firm will provide LCAP with an executable strategy and vision for the next 5
